What's new
New features and improvements in Furo.
New & improved
October 2026
- When you switch on AgNes under Tariff & grid fees, Furo now proposes the capacity price and working prices for your grid operator and voltage level
- With full feed-in you now have to enter the grid import limit, and without a PV system the grid export limit, so the battery can charge from or feed into the grid
- You can now store several prices for a battery in the battery portfolio and pick in the battery selection which one applies per analysis, or enter a price of your own
- You can now tailor the shareable link: when sharing you pick a template that sets which sections it shows
- Under Tariff & grid charges you can now bill under AgNes; the results then show you the booked capacity with and without the battery and what it saves you
- Under Tariff & grid charges AgNes no longer rules out flex marketing: you can now analyse the two together
- With flex marketing under AgNes the load-peak protection offers "Hard (cap)" against "Off" instead of against "Soft (penalty)" — AgNes has no demand charge for a penalty to be measured against
- The input fields for total electricity price, PV investment, operator model and load profile type now explain right in the form what is meant, and warn about implausible values such as a PV price per kWp instead of the total
- In the chart "Power Available for Flex Marketing" you now see, marked in gray, when your grid connection limits the battery power you can market
September 2026
- Under Plan → How Furo calculates you can now read how the optimizer works; the assumptions on electricity prices, MiSpeL and flex marketing are on the respective pages
- In the Light version your prospects can now have their results sent to them by email
- In the operator model you now choose under "Bill battery PPA on" whether the battery PPA is billed on the charged or the delivered energy
- The data export now opens correctly in German Excel: with the app set to German, columns are separated by semicolons and numbers use a decimal comma
- The documentation is now fully available in English: use the language selector to switch every page, glossary included, to English
- In the shareable link the overview page is now lighter and shows your company logo noticeably larger
- In the documentation you'll now find the Telemetry API under "Operate", which you use to send your system's measurements straight to Furo and have them optimized live
- In the Light results your prospects now save a report on the selected mode via "Download PDF", with one chart per page
- In the shareable link you now choose between the classic results page and a new results page that explains the result to your customers step by step
- From an analysis with atypical grid usage (atypische Netznutzung) you can now create a virtual battery — it takes over your high-load windows (Hochlastzeitfenster, HLZF) and caps the peak load within them
- On the shared results page and in the Light results, a chart in your colors now shows for every use case how the battery uses the load profile (Lastgang), PV and prices over the day
- In the revenue breakdown the bar "Dynamic Tariff" is now called "Procurement Optimization" — which clearly distinguishes it from "Tariff Switch"
- In the documentation you now see under "Roadmap" what we're working on and where Furo is heading — and how to tell us what you're missing
- The documentation now has a glossary with 96 briefly explained technical terms around battery storage, grid fees (Netzentgelte) and electricity markets
- Under "Additional costs" in step 3 you now enter the plant certificate (Anlagenzertifikat), construction, EMS hardware, margin, discount and the ongoing optimization fee
August 2026
- What data a sizing needs is now documented in full under "Getting started with Furo" — also as a one-page PDF to forward to your customers
- In the documentation you can now put your questions to an AI assistant that answers them and points to the source in the documentation
- In your profile, "User management" now shows who works in your company account — every member sees their team with name and email address. Managers and admins invite colleagues themselves instead of writing to us; if someone is removed, their analyses and batteries are kept
- If you look after several company accounts, you now switch between them yourself in User management in your profile — projects, analyses, batteries and the team follow the company you have selected there
- For a Swiss address you can now use "Power Price Period" in the tariffs to choose whether your distribution network operator (DSO) bills the peak load monthly or annually — previously only monthly was possible
- Fufu gets in touch when there's something to clarify about your sizing — for example that switching the electricity tariff is often only possible at year-end.
- If Furo loads a new version — or you reload the page yourself — your entries in the sizing are still there afterwards, in the same step as before. Only a file you have selected but not yet submitted has to be selected again
- If you leave a sizing without having saved it, Furo now asks and, if you want, stores it as a draft instead of silently discarding your entries. If you switch back to the general information while a load profile has not been uploaded yet, you're warned as well
- Next to the achieved feed-in price there is now the "⌀ feed-in price before battery" — the same average for the PV system alone. The difference shows you what the storage really adds in marketing, and can be held against your direct marketer's settlement
- If your uploaded profiles don't fit together, the link in the notice now opens the Data Agent with the flagged profiles and the messages — and "To analysis" brings the corrected profiles back into your sizing
- "To analysis" now also leads from a conversation freshly created in the Data Agent into a new sizing: you choose whether to calculate with total consumption or grid import and with imported or simulated PV generation — preselected is the combination that matches your entries
- Emails from a subscribed virtual battery can be unsubscribed from directly, without Furo access and without stopping the virtual battery. The recipient simply receives no further emails
- The PowerPoint export is now fully available: in the profile settings you store your own layout under "PowerPoint Template" with placeholders for key figures, prices and charts — which placeholders exist and how Furo renders the numbers in them is now fully documented
- If your grid operator bills your peak load via atypical grid usage, the Operate dashboard now shows your battery's high-load windows — per season, the times in which the peak load is measured. Outside these windows a peak doesn't count
- In the "Live Batteries" overview you now filter by status and show only systems in operation or only inactive systems
- You now change the name of a live or virtual battery directly in the battery view — just as for an analysis
- Under the market premium remuneration model the bar in the results is now called "Feed-in Revenue" — it contains spot market revenue and market premium together, not just the premium
- The feed-in price in the results is now called "⌀ feed-in price after battery" for all remuneration models alike: it shows the price the optimization achieved on average, not the value you entered. How the market premium comes about, why the price can be below a fixed tariff and that your direct marketer's fee is not deducted is now in the documentation
- In the project overview you can move the divider between the project list and the analyses and so widen the list if your project names would otherwise be cut off
- The project overview now has the "Lost" stage — projects you didn't win go in there instead of being archived
- For flex analyses you can now choose the "Flex timeseries (15-min)" option in the data export: it downloads the marketing on the day-ahead and intraday market together with prices and the storage schedule as its own CSV at quarter-hour resolution – ideal for overlaying the schedule with your PV
- In the Light version the recommendation and the results table now show the payback period in years instead of investment and net present value – the results are sorted by shortest payback
July 2026
