Furo was founded by Lena Voß, Simon Wittner and Leonie Wagner at TU Munich (the company was previously called Lumera Energy). Furo enables battery storage manufacturers, project developers, energy suppliers and industrial companies to deploy battery storage economically, intelligently and on a broad scale. The aim is to make mid-sized businesses and industry independent, competitive and future-proof through smart energy solutions.
What Furo does for you
Furo accompanies you from planning through operation to marketing:
- Plan: upload load data and location, calculate the optimal storage size automatically, check the economics, generate customer-ready documents.
- Operate (beta): forecast-based optimization instead of rigid control, simulates revenue before commissioning.
- Flex (soon): detects unused capacity and markets it on the energy markets (for systems under 1 MW). Today covered in Furo by the flexibility marketing use case.
