Virtual Batteries (BETA)

Operate a planned battery virtually and live, without any physical hardware.

With a virtual battery you operate a planned battery live, without any physical hardware: Furo optimizes it continuously and shows what it would bring in during real operation. That way you bridge the gap from planning to live operation later on.

Open in Furo: app.furoenergy.com/operate/virtual

Creating and reports

You start a virtual battery directly from a completed analysis via Create Virtual Battery (see Export). You give it a name and optionally activate email reports (daily or weekly). You can edit or deactivate existing virtual batteries.

If the analysis comes from an atypical grid usage (atypische Netznutzung) setup, the virtual battery adopts your high-load windows (Hochlastzeitfenster, HLZF): it shaves the peak load inside those windows and calculates the savings on the peak billed there.

Every report goes to each address individually and ends with the link Unsubscribe from these emails. A recipient uses it to unsubscribe themselves — without a Furo account. Other recipients and other virtual batteries are not affected.

What you see

The virtual battery appears in the same battery view as a live battery, including the cumulative actual savings in a running comparison with the original forecast.
