Combine self-consumption, peak shaving, atypical grid usage, spot market and PPA/Contracting.

Self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, atypical grid usage (atypische Netznutzung) and flexibility marketing can be combined:

Self-consumption + peak shaving: the most common combination for commercial and industrial sites.
Atypical grid usage + self-consumption: a reduction of the grid fees (Netzentgelte) on top of the self-consumption rate.
Flexibility marketing: can be added to any combination.

Self-consumption optimization: store the PV surplus and use it in the evening

Peak shaving: shave both peak loads with the battery

Additionally available since March 2026: PPA/Contracting and SMA+PPA. PPA requires a PV system and the load type "Total Consumption (Gross)" and can't be combined with atypical grid usage.
