The Battery Portfolio is your reusable catalog of batteries with costs and technical data. You pick from this portfolio in the battery selection (step 2 of the process); for the Optimal Battery, Furo uses the portfolio's average costs.

Adding batteries
There are three ways to get a battery into the portfolio:
- Manually: Add Battery and enter the values yourself.
- From the Battery Databank: select models from a shared databank and import them with your own costs. Every imported battery needs a cost value greater than zero.
- Upload Data Sheet: from a data sheet PDF Furo fills in the details automatically.
What an entry contains
Per battery: name, manufacturer and model, the technical key figures capacity (kWh) and power (kW) as well as the costs. From a data sheet Furo additionally reads lifetime and technical parameters, including efficiency, depth of discharge, full cycles to end of life, warranty period and degradation.
The values stored in the portfolio override the default assumptions of the optimization.
