Data Assistant (BETA)

Chat a clean, validated load profile out of raw files and context.

The Data Assistant is a chat assistant that builds a clean, validated load profile from unstructured files and your input. You upload files, describe in the chat what you have, and take the result straight into a sizing via To analysis.

Open in Furo: app.furoenergy.com/data-completion-agent

What you can upload

Any file type: CSV, Excel, PDF and images (for example screenshots or photographed invoices). Always upload data as a file instead of pasting it into the chat; that works considerably more reliably.

Starting from a sizing

If Furo reports during the load profile upload that your profiles don't fit together, the link in the notice leads straight into a prepared conversation: the profiles in question are attached and the messages are already there as a chat message. Your sizing is saved as a draft beforehand.

To analysis brings the corrected profile back into exactly this draft instead of opening an empty sizing. The assistant delivers all series in one file, and Furo distributes them across the fields of your sizing: in a gross sizing, total consumption and PV production land there, in a net sizing, grid import, PV production and PV surplus. You don't have to upload anything again. With several PV systems you upload the PV profiles yourself as usual.

Taking it into a new sizing

If you start in the Data Assistant without coming from a sizing, To analysis first asks how the sizing should calculate — because a finished profile always contains all load profiles: total consumption, grid import, PV production and PV surplus. That alone doesn't settle the decision:

  • Total consumption (gross) only, no PV — for a site without PV: only the consumption is taken over, "PV system planned or installed?" is set to No.
  • Total consumption (gross), PV production simulated — only the consumption is taken over, the sizing calculates the PV production from the kWp output you give.
  • Total consumption (gross) + PV production — both are taken over.
  • Grid consumption (net) + PV production + PV surplus — for a measured grid import behind an existing system.
  • Grid consumption (net) + PV surplus — as before, but with the production from the kWp output.

The name of each option states which of them are taken over. Except for the first, they all set "PV system planned or installed?" to Yes.

Furo pre-selects the combination that matches the input you gave the assistant: whether your load profile was total consumption or grid import, and which of them came from your files. If that can't be determined, the pre-selection stands at Total consumption (gross), PV production simulated. You can pick any other — the pre-selection is a suggestion, not a commitment.

After confirming, a new sizing opens with the combination set; the name of the load profile is taken over as the project name. You enter the address and system data yourself as usual. As soon as you click Continue, Furo uploads the load profiles of the chosen combination itself.

What the assistant can do

  • Analyze files: recognize the content and structure of uploaded files.
  • Calculate and combine energy profiles: derive missing profiles from the ones present (gross load, PV production, net load, surplus).
  • Generate PV production: produce a PV profile from the site and the system data, based on meteorological data for the site.
  • Produce a standard load profile: a standard load profile from the library scaled to your consumption, when no measured data exists.
  • Scale to target values: bring a profile to a given annual or monthly consumption.
  • Validate: check the finished profile for structure, plausibility and compliance with the target values.

Scaling and validation run deterministically, that is by fixed rules rather than through the language model.

Give as much context as possible (PV capacity, location, reference values, customer information). The more information, the more accurate the result.
